before read this tutorial, I suggest you to read about how to draw for your preparation of learning how to draw characters.
now I want to tell you about how to draw anime faces, anime girl faces.
this is step by step tutorial how to draw anime faces for beginner. so, I hope you will mastered it easily.
1st step on how to draw anime faces
draw a circle with A diameter. how long the diameter is up to you. but, you must check how long it is. diameter is important for the next step.
2nd step on how to draw anime faces
draw line in the middle of the circle and cross the circle vertically and horizontally. give an extra line on the vertical line, at the bottom, with 1/8 long of the diameter (1/8 A).
3rd step on how to draw anime faces
make line for the chin. draw it by following my example below.
4th step on how to draw anime faces
draw the eyes for this faces. if you not undestand about how to draw eyes for anime. read my previous post about how to draw eyes manga. the big of eyes are 1/4 of the diameter (1/4 A). and the distance between them is 1/4 too. put the above eyes on the horizontal line.
5th step on how to draw anime faces
draw the nose and mouth. it is just some simple line. put the nose and mouth exactly in the middle. so, draw it in the vertical line. follow my example below.

refine the chin by following the sketch line. look at the picture below for example.

now, erase unusable line. look at the picture below for example.

bold it with drawing pen and erase unusable line. so, your picture will be like this.

give a motif on naruto‘s head protector and give some hair in naruto‘s cheek (like a cat or fox). look at the picture below.

in the 1st-8th step you will draw the sketch first. so, you must use pencil.
first thing to do when you draw a character, you must draw a circle for the character’s head. same thing for wolverine, to draw wolverine, first you must draw circle for his head. draw it on top of your drawing area like this picture :

now add the line for the chin and the center of wolverine face, like this picture :

draw a big circle on the down-left of wolverine’s head, the circle will cross the circle you made before a little. look at the picture below :

draw two circle in right and left for wolverine’s shoulder, one circle in the left is bigger than right side. look at the purple line in picture below :

sketch wolverine’s hand with a simple line first. look at the picture :

alright, now you have a full sketch of wolverine, the next step is re-fine your picture. now you can use drawing pen.

draw wolverine’s face with a mask by following your sketch line. I draw it with blue color. so you can differentiate the sketch line and the adding line. I also zoom in the picture. then you can see the detail. look at the picture below :

you can erase unusable line for wolverine’s face. if you use drawing pen for refine, you can easily erase the pencil made line. so the result will be like this :
if we zoom out the picture, it will be like this :
11th step on “how to draw wolverine”
erase unusable line from wolverine’s body but don’t erase outer line. I mark that with red line in the picture below :
after you erase unusable line, it will be like this :
and if you look at the full picture, it will be like this :

now we draw wolverine’s clothes. you must be know that wolverine’s has a protector on the shoulder. draw it by following the sketch line. I draw wolverine’s clothes design by green line (let’s zoom in the picture again):

now, re-fine wolverine’s hand by following the sketch line.
